Cierra Patrick, Administrative Coordinator, would use this quote to describe her life: "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one". Born in Belleville IL, she spent most of her life living between the fertile farmlands of southern Illinois, and the bustling streets of St. Louis, MO. Music ruled her life from a young age, and it led her to Millikin University, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in 2020 for Vocal Performance. The pandemic shutdowns put a wrench in her plans to become the next Maria Callas, but that's okay, because fate helped to guide her to Within Sight's administrative team!
Since she was 16, Cierra has worked in a wide variety of positions. From caretaker to stagehand, assistant librarian to housekeeper, she has been happy to provide first class customer service to each person she encounters! Although each of her positions have been in various settings, they have all provided valuable tools, skills, and experiences which have helped to mold her into a professional powerhouse. Beyond her lifelong love affair with music, a desire to help improve the lives of others has also followed her throughout her life. A passionate advocate for mental health, she feels right at home under Within Sight's roof. At some point in the future, she would love to earn a Master's degree in Music Therapy, so she may use her two greatest passions to make the world a better place.
When she's not helping to hold down the fort at Within Sight, you can most often find her curled up under a blanket watching funny internet videos. Her other hobbies include singing like no one is listening, trying to catch stray animals, having adventures with her fiancé, starting new hobbies (right now it's crocheting and vinyl hunting) and spending time in the great outdoors.
