Tracy Bush, LCSW, PMH-C, psychotherapist, was born and raised in a military family before settling in Owensboro, Kentucky, in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College and worked for OASIS as an advocate for survivors of intimate partner violence and a substance abuse counselor. She went on to obtain her Master in Social Work degree from the University of Southern Indiana and afterwards began working for Youth Villages, a national non-profit that provides therapeutic services to high-risk youths and families.
Tracy has experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural and Strategic Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She is skilled in working with pre-teens, teens, and adults in an individual setting. Tracy has training and experience in providing trauma informed care for individuals with PTSD as well as in providing therapy targeting substance use in adolescents and adults. She is a certified practitioner through Think: Kids in Collaborative Problem Solving, an evidence-based practice that reduces challenging behavior in adolescents, builds skills they lack, and helps support healthy relationships with the adults in their lives. Tracy also holds a Perinatal Mental Health certification (PMH-C) and is passionate about supporting those experiencing perinatal mood disorders (both birthing and non-birthing parents), navigating pregnancy and parenthood, experiencing grief/loss, trauma associated with pregnancy/birth, and those in the LGBTQ+ community.
Tracy currently resides in Henderson, Kentucky with her husband, daughter, and their two dogs. She enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family, traveling, and completing embroidery projects.
